Yesterday I got tired of seeing this:
So I went and bought some wood and built this:
It needs a few supports in the back and sanding the edges wouldn't hurt but not bad for a couple hours. I also made these felt eggs. I saw some online and they looked like fun. They were really easy to make. I put one in an old plastic Easter egg and the boys are having a great time with it.

I love the shelf! I knew what you were talking about when you described it to me, but I couldn't visualize how you were going to put it together. You'll have to send specific instructions. Maybe I can get Rob to make something like that for the new house if we can find space for it. Those kinds of shelves are awesome.
For the fake eggs...Take a look on craftster to see some really crazy things people have made with felt. (My favorite is the complete Nintendo system with the door that opens so you can put the felt game cartridges inside. Talk about using time wisely!)
I love that you are always busy with a project! The quilts are beautiful (as are the ones you have made us) and the bookshelf looks so practical.
